Oliver Anthony Is Set To Make His Grand Ole Opry Debut On December 16

Huge news for Oliver Anthony fans…the singer is set to make his debut at the Grand Ole Opry in just a few weeks!

To catch you up to speed, Anthony (whose real name is Christopher Lunsford), broke onto the scene earlier this year. A video of him performing his original song “Rich Men North of Richmond” went viral, and made him a star overnight.

The song topped the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. He earned his first awards show nominations at the Billboard Music Awards, scoring nods in the Top Song Sales Artist and Top Selling Songs category.

On November 14, Anthony announced his massive Out of the Woods Tour, which will take him across the U.S. and to various countries overseas.

But first, Anthony is gearing up for another huge performance in the heart of “Music City.”

On Thursday (November 30), Anthony shared the news that he’s set to make his debut at the Grand Ole Opry on December 16. He posted a photo standing outside the iconic Artist Entrance, and said:

You know what this means…Thrilled to perform on December 16th at the Opry!”

For country artists, few things top the opportunity to make their Opry debut. There’s no doubt the performance will stand out in Anthony’s mind as a huge highlight of his career.

His fans were thrilled for him. Some of the comments on his announcement were:
