The Family Of Ozzy Osbourne Has Released A Statement Following His Passing
Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary Black Sabbath frontman and one of the most iconic voices in rock history, has died at the age of 76. His family announced his passing in a public statement on Tuesday.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,” the statement read.

“The Prince Of Darkness” Dies Weeks After Farewell Show
The news of Ozzy’s death comes just weeks after his farewell show on July 5. During the performance, he reunited with his original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.
“You’ve got no idea how I feel,” a teary-eyed Ozzy said during the show. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, the rock singers health had been a growing concern in recent years.
Around the same time, Sharon Osbourne gave an update: “Ozzy’s working with his therapist every single day. He’s doing really well, actually. Ozzy’s number one thing in life is his fans, so he’s working hard to be ready for them, to make this show the perfect way to end things,” she said.
Ozzy and Sharon were married for 43 years, and together had three children; Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. He also had two children from his first marriage.
Ozzy Leaves His Lasting Legacy In Music
Known for his unique vocal style and wild stage antics, Ozzy helped define the genre of heavy metal.
The music icon won three GRAMMY Awards and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002.
With 100 million records sold worldwide, he influenced generations of musicians across a multitude of genres.
