They joined a star-studded lineup of performs that included Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Riley Green, Ella Langley, Zach Top, Blake Shelton, Red Clay Strays, Tucker Wetmore, Thomas Rhett, and more!

Parker and Lee Ann Share Texas Roots

Parker and Lee Ann have built a strong friendship through their shared Texas country roots and years of working in the same Nashville circles. McCollum has often spoken about how much he admired Womack growing up, calling her one of the greatest traditional country artists of all time.

Their connection became even closer through Womack’s family — her husband, producer Frank Liddell, worked on McCollum’s music, while her daughters Aubrie Sellers and Anna Lise Liddell have also collaborated with him professionally. Aubrie is currently opening for him on select dates of his tour.

Over the years, the friendship has shown up publicly in fun and heartfelt ways. In 2024, Womack jokingly dressed as McCollum for Halloween, recreating his “Gold Chain Cowboy” look while teasing that her family was spending the holiday in the studio with him instead of at home.

Their friendship came full circle when McCollum prepared to perform with Womack at the ACM Awards. He described the moment as surreal because he grew up listening to her music in his mother’s car as a kid. He also praised Womack and her family as “unbelievably awesome people,” showing just how much respect and affection exists between them both personally and professionally.

What did you think of their performance?!
