The First People’s Choice Country Awards Air On NBC – Find The Complete List Of Winners Here

This year marks a first for country music. The People’s Choice Country Awards aired its inaugural ceremony on Thursday (September 28) at 8 PM on NBC and Peacock.

The ceremony was held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. Little Big Town served as the hosts of the first-of-its-kind event.

Winners were selected based on votes from fans. That means that YOU had the power to pick who won each award. Voting opened on August 16 and closed on August 25.

Toby Keith and Wynonna were recognized with special honors…the Country Icon and Country Champion Awards.
