REPORT: Grammy Winner Tori Kelly Hospitalized In “Really Serious” Condition

Tori Kelly has been hospitalized with severe blood clots after passing out Sunday evening.

According to TMZ, Tori Kelly was out to dinner with some friends when her heart began to race. She then passed out was was “out for awhile,” per a source, and was loaded into a car and transported to the hospital.

The source reported that Tori is currently in ICU where she is being treated for blood clots in her legs and lungs. Doctors are trying to determine if she has clots around her heart. The source added that the 30-year-old has been in and out of consciousness during her hospitalization.

Tori Kelly rose to fame after winning the Billboard Women in Music Breakthrough Artist Award in 2015.  A year later she made her movie debut as the voice of Meena the elephant in Sing. In 2020, Kelly appeared on The Masked Singer as Seahorse, ultimately being eliminated in the semifinals.

Tori Kelly made country music connections in 2017 when she teamed up with Chris Lane for “Take Back Home Girl,” the lead single from Lane’s sophomore album. The video for the track garnered more than 70 million views.

In 2019, Kelly joined Dan + Shay at the Billboard Music Awards to sing the duo’s song “Speechless.” See that performance below.
