The two ACM Award winners joined forces for a surprise duet.

On May 17th, Riley Green took home the ACM Award for Music Event of the Year for his song, “Don’t Mind If I Do.” It was the title track to his third studio album and was released as a single in September 2024. The Alabama native is the sole songwriter of the track, and originally recorded it as a duet with Ella Langley.

Ahead of the ACM Awards, Riley was the headlining act for Country On The Green, a special event benefitting ACM Lifting Lives. The charitable organization is the philanthropic partner of the Academy of Country Music, dedicated to improving lives through the power of music.

Riley, along with Randy Houser, Avery Anna, Lauren Alaina, and Rodney Atkins, took over Top Golf in Las Vegas for a memorable night of performances.

Riley Green And Avery Anna Perform “Don’t Mind If I Do”

During his set, Riley Green invited rising star Avery Anna to the stage for a surprise collaboration.

On April 26th, while performing at Lone Star Smokeout in Texas, Avery was surprised on stage by fellow artist and collaborator Sam Barber. Sam delivered the exciting news that Avery had won the ACM for New Female Artist of the Year! Watch her reaction below.

Fast forward three weeks, Avery went into ACM weekend in Las Vegas already a winner. Her surprise performance with Riley was a highlight for many fans. They delivered the song effortlessly, even though it was their first time singing together.
