Carly Pearce Teased A Sultry Music Video On Feb. 25

On February 25, Carly Pearce teased something that would be released on Thursday, February 26th.

“tomorrow. 9:30am,” she captioned the video.

The footage was of a camera filming her and a mystery man look extra cozy on the couch with a glass of wine.

The following day, she dropped an even longer teaser revealing that the mystery man was Riley Green! The clip also revealed that they recorded a duet together. The video showed them singing the lyrics, “Baby isn’t doing this the definition of insane?”

She also used those lyrics as the caption of the steamy video.

Fan reaction to both the teasers were absolutely hilarious. See some of them below.

Riley Green And Carly Pearce Dropped The Steamy Music Video On March 13

After much fanfare over the teaser clips, the unlikely duo dropped the song and the music video on March 13.

On March 4, Pearce confirmed the duet would be called “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay.”

Hours before the release, Pearce teased the video once again on Instagram.

The video is set in what appears to be Green’s home after the two had a couple glasses of wine. They are tempted to spend the night together, but know it’s not a good idea. Carly knows that she has to leave now, or she will stay the night and regret her decision. That’s where the lyric, “If I don’t leave, I’m gonna stay” come in.

The whole video they get closer and closer together and on the verge of sealing the night with a kiss, but as the video continues, it’s clear she ended up leaving, much to Green’s disappointment.

This is not Green’s first music video that has nearly broken the Internet. Almost exactly a year ago, he dropped his video for “Worst Way,” which showed him and his leading lady getting hot and heavy at home, in a restaurant, and more.
