Riley Green Makes His Acting Debut In Marshals
Things are heating up for Riley Green’s character in Marshals.
On Sunday, April 19, Green appeared in Episode 8 of the CBS series for the first time. The country star portrays Garrett, a Navy SEAL dealing with PTSD.
Viewers were first introduced to Green’s character when he stopped by his old friend Kayce Dutton’s ranch, looking for someone to lean on.

This is Green’s first acting role, and a big one at that.
He snagged the part thanks to his good friend Luke Grimes, who stars in the show as Kayce Dutton. When Green told him he wanted to dive into the acting world, Grimes managed to get him an audition.
When it was first announced that he would be joining the cast, it wasn’t revealed how many episodes fans could expect to see him in. That information is still not clear; however, it looks like his role will continue for a while longer.
What We Know About Riley Green’s Onscreen Love Interest
In an exclusive sneak peek from PEOPLE, Green is confirmed to return in the next episode airing Sunday, May 3, and his storyline continues to build around an exciting romance.
The clip begins with Kayce walking into his kitchen, where he finds his teammate Andrea (Ash Santos) making coffee.
“I didn’t realize you were still here,” he says to her.
“I ain’t no two-cheek sneak. You want some joe?,” she replies before handing him a mug.
Things start to click when the scene pans over to Garrett, who enters the room shirtless.
“I’ll tell you what, coyote. If we had teammates like Andrea in the Navy, I’d still be a SEAL,” he says to Kayce while putting a t-shirt on.
Kayce then looks over to Andrea and jokes, “Being held captive by the Cleggs wasn’t torture enough?”
To which she replies, ” Who knew? I can’t resist the power of a country ballad.”
If you watched Episode 9, you know she was referring to the scene where the marshals team sits around a campfire, finally able to relax after rescuing her. Garrett pulls out a guitar and starts singing, performing a song titled “My Way,” which is actually Green’s new song in real life.
“Well if you wanna earn room and board for your overnight guest, you’ll have to prep the lower pastures today,” Kayce tells Garrett.
Garrett asks Andrea if she wants to join him for the day, but she tells him that she’s finally been cleared by her shrink to return to work.
The two share a quick kiss before Andrea turns to Kayce and says, “If I haven’t said it lately, thanks again for saving my ass.”
Will Garrett and Andrea just be a fling, or turn into something more? Looks like we’ll have to tune in and see.
New episodes of the Yellowstone spinoff air Sundays at 8 p.m. EST
