Lisa Marie was laid to rest next to her son in the Meditation Garden at Graceland. Her friends and family gathered to honor her during a public memorial service held at the estate on Sunday (January 22).
Just days before the service, Lisa Marie’s eldest daughter, Riley Keough, shared her first post on social media since Lisa Marie passed away. She shared a childhood photo of her with her mom, which she simply captioned with a red heart.
Although Riley did not speak during her mom’s memorial service, her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, read a note she wrote. In the note, Riley shared that she and Ben have a daughter of their own. This news was not known publicly before.
“I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters,” the note read. “Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart.”
Riley’s representative confirmed with PEOPLE she and Ben welcomed their daughter in 2022. Riley later shared that they named her Tupelo, after Elvis’ birthplace.

“I feel blessed to have a photo of the last time I saw my beautiful mama. Grateful @georgieflores took this,” Riley captioned the picture, which you can see below.
Our prayers remain with Riley, Harper, Finley, and all of Lisa Marie’s loved ones.
