Since Hauser has more of a spotlight in the show Yellowstone, fans are used to seeing him with dark hair. However, in real life and in his past films he’s actually a redhead! Hauser’s film debut was in School Ties, alongside future stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Damon, Chris O’Donnell, and Ben Affleck. Soon after, he appeared in Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused and of course – Good Will Hunting.

During an appearance on the Jenny McCarthy Show, Hauser explains that he had to darken his hair for Yellowstone because of his character’s love interest with Beth Dutton who is played by another redhead, Kelly Reilly. Hauser stated that the two of them looked too much like siblings which made dyeing his hair necessary.
