Robert Irwin Appeared On The Tonight Show
Robert Irwin, wildlife conservationist and most recent Dancing With The Stars champion, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about continuing his father’s legacy, the recent Steve Irwin Gala, and his upcoming hosting duties on the upcoming show Dancing With The Stars: The Next Pro.
Irwin gave us some details about The Next Pro, like that it was filmed in Brisbane, Australia and that one episode may or may not feature some animals at the Australia Zoo.

He also showed off his now-signature dance move: the worm into a kip-up.
Before The Show, Irwin Revealed A DWTS Injury He’s Never Told Anyone About
Before the taping of the show, Irwin and Fallon sat down in a dressing room for a segment called “Three Scoops,” where the talk show host got the scoop on three different topics.
The first scoop was finding out an embarrassing story, which Irwin delivered! He told a hilarious story about spilling a glass of orange juice, not once but twice, while at lunch with King Charles III when he was younger!
After fully digesting that scoop, Fallon said, “Give me a scoop on Dancing with the Stars.”
Irwin asked the host if he wanted to know the champion’s “worst Dancing With The Stars injury,” to which the 21-year-old said, “I broke my foot. No one knows this.”
He clarified, “It wasn’t actually on the show. This is after the season of Dancing With The Stars ended.”
Continuing his explanation, Irwin said:
“I was alone in my room, and I have a little fireplace, right? There’s this little fireplace, it’s made out of stones. And I’m sitting there going, ‘I wonder if I still got it?’ So I put on the song from my first jive, you know the one that has all the kicks? So I put the song on and I just start going full ham, 100% around my house, and I just slam my foot in the fireplace.”

“I’m rolling on the floor, [my foot] ballooned [with] this giant bruise and yeah, broke my foot doing the jive in my living room on my own, it was humiliating,” he said.
He recently did the same jive that injured him at the Steve Irwin Gala just last week, so it seems his foot is fully healed!
