Sam Hunt Transforms Appearance With Dramatic Buzz Cut And Shave

Sam Hunt fans did a double take when they opened social media on Tuesday (September 8) and saw the “Body Like A Backroad” singer share a series of photos that left many wondering which person in the pictures was actually him.
Sam Hunt is known for his songs “Take Your Time,” “Body Like A Backroad,” and more, but he’s also known for rocking, in recent years, a beard and a full head of brown hair.
When he first burst on the scene though, he was clean shaven, as you can see on his first album cover, Montevallo.
Sam Hunt Looks Unrecognizable After Buzz Cut And Shave
In a new Instagram post on September 8, Hunt shared several photos from a family trip to the United Kingdom, where fans got a glimpse at his new look, a buzzed head and no beard!
It seems as though the new look isn’t as sudden as we thought because he has photos dating back to June 1st where he’s been rocking a clean face and shaved head! A fan commented on that post, saying, “I cannot identify this as Sam Hunt??”

As fans pointed out in the comments section, his hasn’t toured or released music in a while. His last performance was on October 4, 2025 at Gretna Heritage Music Festival and his last release was when he released “Country House” as a single in May 28, 2024.
