Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Prepare To Tie The Knot

Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce are expected to get married in the very near future!

The couple first sparked dating rumors in July of 2023, when fans noticed Kelce attending one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts. After the show, Kelce revealed on his New Heights podcast that he had hoped to give the singer a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, though he never got the chance. The story quickly gained attention, with Swift later acknowledging it herself.

In the months that followed, the pair made their relationship public. Swift famously attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023 to cheer on Kelce, and by October, the two were seen leaving an Saturday Night Live after-party hand-in-hand, confirming what fans had long suspected.

The couple officially announced their engagement on August 26, 2025 to their Instagram accounts. They posted a series of photos capturing the special moment when Kelce proposed.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption to their announcement read.

Swift & Kelce Reportedly Enforce One Wedding Rule

Since then, details on the actual wedding have been kept relatively private. The couple has not yet publicly announced many plans and official news surrounding the reported date and venue remain unverified.

However, one guest is sharing a surprising rule the couple noted for their guests. According to San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, Swift and Kelce have set a rule surrounding gifts for the big event.

“Absolutely no gifts,” Kittle reportedly told Extra while attending a recent concert in Nashville. Kittle then jokingly added, “Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin.”
