What Is The Name Of Beth Dutton And Rip Wheeler’s Yellowstone Spin-Off Show?
After a lot of back and forth, the Yellowstone spin-off centered on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler has finally been given an official name.
Rumors about a Beth and Rip spin-off started shortly before Yellowstone ended in December 2024. Kelly Reilly (who plays Beth) quickly confirmed the rumors, saying they were “true.”

The Beth and Rip series has been in development for the past year, with Reilly and Cole Hauser (who plays Rip) remaining relatively tight-lipped about the show and its premise.
In a mid-year earnings call in 2025, Paramount called the Beth and Rip spin-off Dutton Ranch. However, shortly after, Cole Hauser said that Dutton Ranch wasn’t the show’s name.
Then, in August 2025, the series got a working title. Paramount revealed that it was being called The Dutton Ranch.
Beth and Rip fans knew the spin-off by that name for months. Now, the series appears to have finally been given an official title.

A brief teaser for the spin-off aired during the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 11). A video of the teaser has not been shared online. TV Insider reports that the clip showed Beth and Rip riding horses together in the sunshine.
The teaser also revealed that the series dropped “The” from its working title, meaning its name is officially Dutton Ranch.
Despite that big reveal, Dutton Ranch‘s premiere date has not been announced. Stay tuned for that announcement.
Another Upcoming Yellowstone Spin-Off Recently Changed Its Name
The news that Beth and Rip’s spin-off finally has an official title comes shortly after another Yellowstone series changed its name. The Kayce Dutton-centered spin-off, formally known as Y: Marshals, will now go by the title Marshals.
The name change came just two months before Marshals is set to premiere on CBS. Viewers will watch Kayce (played by Luke Grimes) pursue a new path in life as he joins an elite team of U.S. Marshals.
Yellowstone stars Gil Birmingham, Brecken Merrill, and Mo Brings Plenty will reprise their roles as Chief Thomas Rainwater, Tate Dutton, and Mo.
However, Kelsey Asbille, who played Kayce’s wife, Monica, on Yellowstone, has not yet confirmed if she’ll reprise her role in Marshals. Monica has not been mentioned in any of the show’s teasers.
