The Oak Ridge Boys Forced To Postpone Concert
on Jun 04, 2026

The Oak Ridge Boys just announced they have to reschedule their June 6 concert, citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
In a statement on social media, the legendary band wrote, “RESCHEDULED! Due to unforeseen circumstances, @theoakridgeboys will not be playing at Stix this weekend on June 6. We will be back to play in Ludington on September 18th! All tickets previously purchased will still be valid for the new date.”
The Oak Ridge Boys Have Been On Their Extended American Made Farewell Tour
In 2023, The Oak Ridge Boys announced they would be embarking on a farewell tour named after their iconic song “American Made.”
After a hugely successful run of shows, the Country Music Hall Of Famers extended their run into 2024, 2025, and 2026!
Despite having so much fun on the road the last few years, the band has endured plenty of trials and tribulations. In early 2023, Joe Bonsall retired from touring, and later passed away on July 9, 2024.

As they mourned the loss of their brother, they continued performing, knowing that Joe would want them to keep sharing their gift of music with the world.
In the midst of their 2025 run of shows, Richard Sterban announced that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He missed several shows to undergo medical procedures, but returned to the stage with his bandmates on the Grand Ole Opry stage in February of this year.
