Voice Season 23 Finale Features Special Guests & Marks Blake Shelton’s Last Episode

After months of competing, only five Voice contestants advanced to the Season 23 finale. They were Grace West (Team Blake), NOIVAS (Team Blake), Sorelle (Team Chance), Gina Miles (Team Niall), and D. Smooth (Team Kelly).

Season 23  ended in a two-part finale featuring performances from the Top 5 contestants, the coaches, and special guests. Some of the guest performers were Lewis Capaldi, Alex Newell, and former Voice coach Adam Levine.

The second part of the finale aired on Tuesday (May 23), which is when the results were revealed. It was also Blake Shelton’s last episode as a coach.

Shelton announced his departure from The Voice in October. He’s the only coach to appear on all 23 seasons of the show.

Shortly before the finale, it was announced that Reba McEntire will be taking Shelton’s place during Season 24 as the “country” coach on The Voice. McEntire previously served as the Mega Mentor to Season 23’s contestants during the knockouts.
