After months of competing, only five Voice contestants advanced to the Season 23 finale. They were Grace West (Team Blake), NOIVAS (Team Blake), Sorelle (Team Chance), Gina Miles (Team Niall), and D. Smooth (Team Kelly).
Season 23 ended in a two-part finale featuring performances from the Top 5 contestants, the coaches, and special guests. Some of the guest performers were Lewis Capaldi, Alex Newell, and former Voice coach Adam Levine.
The second part of the finale aired on Tuesday (May 23), which is when the results were revealed. It was also Blake Shelton’s last episode as a coach.
Shelton announced his departure from The Voice in October. He’s the only coach to appear on all 23 seasons of the show.
Shortly before the finale, it was announced that Reba McEntire will be taking Shelton’s place during Season 24 as the “country” coach on The Voice. McEntire previously served as the Mega Mentor to Season 23’s contestants during the knockouts.

Shelton has long held on to the record for the most wins in Voice history. Going into the Season 23 finale, he had nine past wins under his belt. Was he able to score a tenth and final win?
After much anticipation, host Carson Daly revealed the results.
Are you ready to hear who won this season of The Voice? If not, DO NOT keep reading if you don’t want to have the news spoiled for you.
The winner of Season 23 of The Voice is…Gina Miles of Team Niall!
Daly said this was the closest margin of victory in Voice history. Team Blake’s Grace West came in second place behind Miles, followed by D. Smooth of Team Kelly, Sorelle of Team Chance in fourth, and NOIVAS of Team Blake in fifth.
