Although Season 24 hasn’t started yet, The Voice is already thinking about Season 25. We estimate that Season 25 will debut sometime in the first few months of 2024.

While that’s far in the future, The Voice dropped a hint that it’s ready to announce Season 25’s coaching lineup soon. Additionally, it shared news about a huge change coming to the show.

Introducing…The Double Chair

Those who’ve watched The Voice in other countries have seen the double chair before. The chair houses a duo that acts as a unit, giving their contestants two coaches in one!

On Wednesday (June 21), The Voice announced the double chair’s pending arrival to the U.S. version of the show. Based on the sound of things, the double chair will be introduced in Season 25.

To top things off, The Voice also shared its plans to release the 2024 coaching lineup soon. “Verified double chair + new 2024 Coach lineup coming…. stay tuned,” the show wrote next to a picture of the future double chair.

Who Will Fill The Double Chair On The Voice?

Naturally, fans started speculating who will appear in the double chair. Many guessed we’ll see a famous musical duo in the chair, such as Brooks & Dunn, Dan + Shay, or former coach Nick Jonas and one of his brothers, Joe or Kevin.
