Tim McGraw Celebrates The Spirit Of Thanksgiving By Thanking His Fans With A New EP, Poet’s Resume

Tim McGraw has a lot to be thankful for right now. For starters, his song “Standing Room Only” recently became the 46th number one single of his career.

“Woke up this morning to find out “Standing Room Only” just went Number 1…. the 46th song to top the Country Radio charts in my career,” he said in a post on social media. “I can’t believe it, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude!! Thank you to Country Radio and everyone listening!”

In that same post, McGraw teased fans with a “big surprise” he planned to reveal soon. That “big surprise” turned out to be a brand-new, six-song EP titled Poet’s Resume.

Get All The Details About Poet’s Resume

In a post he shared around midnight on Tuesday (November 21), McGraw said he released the EP in the spirit of Thanksgiving. He expressed how thankful he is for his fans, who have supported him for three decades now:

“In the spirit of being thankful, I’m so grateful for all of you and the ways you have supported me, my family, and my music thru [sic] the years,” McGraw wrote in a post he shared on social media.

This surprise drop of Poet’s Resume comes just three months after McGraw released his latest full-length studio album, Standing Room Only.

As mentioned previously, Poet’s Resume includes six new songs. Their titles are “Poet’s Resume,” “Hurt People,” “One Bad Habit,” “20 for 30,” “Been Around Awhile,” and “Runnin’ Out of Love.”
