Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Get Married In New York City

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City back in July.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in July 2023, when fans spotted the NFL star attending one of Taylor’s Eras Tour concerts. Following the show, Travis shared on his New Heights podcast that he had hoped to give Taylor a friendship bracelet featuring his phone number.

Unfortunately, he never got the opportunity to meet her that night. The story quickly made headlines, and Taylor later addressed the sweet gesture herself.

Taylor made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023, cheering Travis on from the stands alongside his mother, Donna Kelce. Then, in October 2023, the couple was spotted leaving a Saturday Night Live after-party together, holding hands and putting an end to much of the speculation surrounding their romance.

Tim McGraw Responds To Rumors Of Performing At The Big Day

The big day brought together some of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars. Among guest list were several familiar faces from the country music world, including Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, and Chris Stapleton.

And now, Tim McGraw is setting the record straight about his appearance at the wedding. The 59-year-old country star revealed that he and his wife, Faith Hill, were among the guests in attendance.

During a recent interview with Esquire, the “Humble and Kind” singer also addressed speculation that he performed at the wedding. He made it clear that he did not take the stage despite reports claiming otherwise.

“I didn’t perform at her wedding. That was a rumor,” he told Michael Sebastian, Esquire‘s editor-in-chief. “The internet’s not always correct.”

The two eventually became friends after Taylor released her debut single, “Tim McGraw,” in 2006. Although the song was not directly about the country star, it was inspired by a high school romance.

Taylor used Tim’s music as a reminder of that relationship, which inspired her to include his name in the song’s title. “Tim McGraw” went on to be one of Taylor’s most beloved classics.
