Tyler Farr & Wife Welcome Baby Girl 6 Weeks Early After Complications

Country singer Tyler Farr and his wife, Hannah, have officially welcomed their first child!

The 36-year-old singer’s rep confirmed with PEOPLE that the couple’s baby girl arrived six weeks early after Hannah suffered unexpected complications. Hollis Caroline Farr was born at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee on Jan. 27th at 1:41 p.m. She measured 19 1/2 inches and weighed 4 lbs., 12 oz.

“After some complications, we are excited and shocked that she is here six weeks early!” the new parents told PEOPLE.

The day before Hollis’ arrival, Hannah revealed on her Instagram Story that she was “unexpectedly” admitted to the hospital due to preeclampsia and blood pressure issues.”

“[Hollis] is spending time in the [neonatal intensive care unit], but doing well,” the couple explained. “We can’t wait to bring our girl home! Thank you to our doctors, nurses and everyone involved here at the hospital.”

The couple exclusively shared their daughter’s first pictures with PEOPLE, and the new parents look overjoyed! In an Instagram share, Tyler wrote:

“What a whirlwind it has been! Still in shock & trying to process everything that’s taken place since Sunday! We are so happy & shocked to announce the arrival (6 weeks early) of our sweet baby girl!”
