UPDATED: 2023 Grammy Awards Country Winners

The 2023 Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles Sunday night and several country artists took home wins.
Prior to the live Grammy Awards show Sunday night (February 5), more than 70 awards were given out at the Grammy Premiere ceremony. Those early awards included some country categories, including Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Duo/Group Performance, and Best Country Song.
One of the first country winners revealed was Willie Nelson who took home the trophy for Best Country Solo Performance for “Live Forever.”
The win marks the 12th for the country music legend who beat out Kelsea Ballerini, Zach Bryan, Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert for the win.

Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde took home their first Grammy Awards for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their collaboration on “Never Wanted To Be That Girl.”
The pair were up against “Wishful Drinking” by Ingrid Andress and Sam Hunt, Brothers Osborne’s “Midnight Rider’s Prayer”, “Outrunnin’ Your Memory” by Luke Combs and Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton’s “Does He Love You — Revisited” and Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’ “Going Where the Lonely Go.”

The Best Country Song trophy went to the songwriters of Cody Johnson‘s “Til You Can’t.”
Other songs in the running were “Circles Around This Town,” by Maren Morris, “Doin’ This,” by Luke Combs, “I Bet You Think About Me” by Taylor Swift, “If I Was a Cowboy” by Miranda Lambert, and Willie Nelson’s “I’ll Love You Til the Day I Die.”

During the live broadcast, Shania Twain announced that Willie Nelson won his second Grammy of the night. Nelson was named a winner for Best Country Album for “A Beautiful Time.” Nelson was not in attendance to receive his award.
