Dolly’s Sister Comes To Her Defense Amid Criticism Of Her Halftime Performance

While Dolly’s halftime performance and attire garnered admiration from many, there was some criticism. The majority of the negative feedback centered around the belief that Dolly’s outfit was overly revealing, particularly considering her age in the 70s.

Responding to these critics on X (formerly Twitter), Dolly’s sister, Stella Parton, strongly defended her older sibling, stating:

“I personally thought my big sister Dolly was cute as hell in her Dallas Cowboys cheerleading costume at the half time show on Thanksgiving. To those of you being so critical of a 77 year old kicking up her heels, I say f— yourself. Shame on you not her.”

We sure thought Dolly killed it during the show! Watch her FULL halftime performance below.
