on Apr 14, 2026

Season 29 of The Voice has come to a close with the crowning of a new champion!
On Tuesday night (April 14), The Voice: Battle Of Champions revealed its winner in a two-hour live episode. It brought to a close one of the show’s unique seasons.
For the first time in Voice history, the coaching panel only consisted of three coaches, all of whom had previously won the show. Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Adam Levine returned in hopes of adding to their already impressive Voice resumes with another win.
Kelly Clarkson, who had four previous titles under her belt, was well-represented in the finale with two contestants. John Legend and Adam Levine, with one and three wins respectively, each had one singer in the finals.
The Voice Brought Big Changes To Battle Of Champions
Unlike past seasons, viewers had no say in the fate of the contestants on the Battle of Champions. Every elimination was determined by the coaches until the semi-finals. During the semi-final episode that aired on Monday, the Top 9 artists, three from each team, sang for a studio audience who determined which four hopefuls would advance.
The finalists were: Mikenley Brown of Team Kelly, Liv Ciara of Team Kelly, Alexia Jayy of Team Adam, and Lucas West of Team Legend.

For the first time, all of the semi-final and finale performances were pre-recorded and didn’t air live. An audience of Voice super fans and former contestants determined who would take home the Season 29 title, and host Carson Daly revealed the results at the end of the show.
A New Voice Winner Is Crowned
Following a two-hour, performance-filled episode, Carson Daly shared the results. He revealed that Mikenley Brown finished 4th, and Lucas West earned 3rd place. That left Liv Ciara and Alexia Jayy wondering who would earn the coveted trophy.
After a break, Daly revealed that The Voice: Battle of Champions winner is:
Alexia Jayy!
This gives Adam Levine his fourth career win on The Voice! Following Alexia’s win, Adam said, “I would say I can’t believe it, but I can. There is no one that is more deserving of this honor.”
Congratulations to Alexia Jayy and her coach, Adam Levine, on a well-deserved win!
