Kelly Clarkson Invites Young Son Onstage For “Uptown Funk” Mash-Up, And It’s Adorable!

Kelly Clarkson loves to mix it up, and we’re happy she does!

She was closing out her concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania recently and told the crowd she is going to sing one of her favorite songs of hers, “Walk Away.”  Problem is, she’s been performing that song for about thirteen years! Wanting to shake things up a bit, she introduces a mash-up with one of her favorite songs of the year.

Her band starts playing the music for the Bruno Mars hit “Uptown Funk.” She starts singing the lyrics to “Walk Away” and they fit together perfectly!!! The crowd is definitely loving it as she switches between the two songs.

She splits the crowd in half and tells the left side that they are team “Uptown Funk” and the right side is team “Walk Away.” To lead team “Uptown Funk” she has a couple of her backup singers and a special man in her life. She says, “we’ve got my sexy man up there. That’s my son, Seth!” 

The young boy helps lead the crowd while dancing on beat with the singers singing “Uptown funk you up, I said uptown funk you up!” while Kelly leads the “Walk Away” side of the crowd. He looks like he is having so much fun! What a lucky guy to have Kelly Clarkson as a mom! 

He is technically her stepson, but we love that she didn’t even mention that! Speaking of famous relatives, did y’all know Reba McEntire is his grandma?! She was so proud that she posted this on her Instagram account:
