Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Cancer-Stricken Fan Gets A Fantastic Surprise

While he may be off the track for the rest of the year, that’s not stopping him from connecting with his huge fan base and one lucky fan got the chance of a lifetime! 

As Fox Sports reports, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was out and about at the University of Tennessee / Virginia Tech football game held at Bristol Speedway when he had a chance to make one adoring fan’s day – and he jumped on it! 

Susan Thompson has been battling cancer and undergoing treatment, but she took a break between chemo sessions to go see her team play and hopefully get a chance to meet Dale Jr. 

Well, luckily for Susan – she got everything she was asking for! 

ESPN posted a video of Susan’s encounter and photo session with the racing star, and it went viral! 

We are so glad to see Dale Jr. reaching out to his fans like this and going the extra mile! It just proves how great of a guy he is.
