Country singer and Staind frontman, Aaron Lewis has been on the road for his American Patriot Acoustic Tour all year long. With seven shows left in 2023, he has been forced to get off the road early due to doctor-mandated vocal rest.

Lewis shared the disappointing news in a social media announcement Wednesday (Nov 6). The statement read:

“Life has reminded me I’m creeping up on 52. After recording a new Staind album, a new solo album and playing 150+ shows this year, my doctors have insisted I take this month off to give my voice some much needed rest before I do damage to my cords.”

“It kills me to say this, but I have to listen to the professionals,” Lewis added. “Have a great holiday season and I look forward to seeing everyone in 2024.”

The canceled shows have been rescheduled for new 2024 dates.

Six of the seven show dates that Aaron Lewis cannot fulfill this month have been rescheduled for dates in 2024. The exception is Saginaw, WI which originally had two shows planned, but will instead only have one next year.

All tickets purchased for the December tour stops will be honored on their respective rescheduled dates. Lewis let fans know that they can request refunds at their point of purchase if they cannot attend the new date. Find a complete list of rescheduled shows below:
