Alan Jackson Look-Alike Goes Viral After Fooling Fans In Nashville
on

An Alan Jackson look-alike had fans doing a double-take.
You never know who you might spot walking down Nashville’s Broadway strip. The street is a popular spot for country music fans, and every now and then, some of the genre’s biggest stars show up.
In Alan Jackson’s case, though, it’s just people who look a lot like him.
Over the weekend, a video started circulating online showing someone who looked exactly like Jackson. He was walking down Broadway, holding hands with a woman people claimed was Jackson’s wife of 46 years, Denise.
The man wore Jackson’s famous tan cowboy hat and a red Western-style button-up shirt with pearl snaps, which is a look fans have seen the country star wear during performances for years.
The video fooled quite a few people, but many others weren’t falling for it. Fans quickly filled the comments section, pointing out that the man in the video wasn’t actually Jackson.
“Alan is 6’5. This dude is 5’11 max 😂,” one person said.
“Haaaaa. I work for Alan. THAT is NOT HIM…or Denise! 😂🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️,” added an employee of Jackson’s.
“This is sooooo NOT them!!” exclaimed another fan.
The video even caught the attention of some country stars, like Ernest, who couldn’t help but join the fun in the comments.
Since the man in the video was a “knockoff” version of Jackson, Ernest started listing some of the singer’s famous songs and lyrics but gave them a funny twist. Some of his comments include:
“Here for a bad time”
“Daddy let me walk”
“1 o’clock somewhere”
“Midnight in manhattan”
“Forget when”
“Badahoochi”
Would you have been fooled if you saw this guy walking past you? Watch the video below of the Alan Jackson impersonator and see if you’d recognize right away that it wasn’t him or if you’d have to take a second look.
What Is Alan Jackson Doing Now?
It’s pretty clear that Jackson isn’t spending his free time walking around Broadway and popping into bars. He’s actually taking life a lot slower these days.
Back in June, he officially retired from touring and played his final concert at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Of course, he still has some business ventures to keep him busy. Jackson’s bar, AJ’s Good Time Bar, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month.
He’s also spending more time at home with his family. In July, Jackson and his wife announced the arrival of their fifth grandchild.
