on Jun 28, 2026 • Updated Jun 28, 2026

Alan Jackson and Lee Ann Womack have been friends for a long time. So it made perfect sense when she signed up to participate in his final concert on Saturday, June 27th.
Alan Jackson Performed His Farewell Show In Nashville
While wrapping up his Last Call One More For The Road tour in May 2025, Jackson revealed that he would be performing one last time in the city where everything began: Nashville.
During the show, he told the crowd:
“This is my last road show, but we’re planning a big finale show in Nashville next summer sometime,” he told the crowd. “I just felt like I had to end it all where it all started, and that’s in Nashville, Tennessee, Music City. This one is the last one out on the road for me. It’s been a sweet ride”
Last Call One More For The Road…The Finale was announced several months later and it would feature an all-star lineup of performers including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, George Strait, Lainey Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, and more!
The concert sold out so quickly, and there was such a high demand, that the show was live-streamed on Broadway in Downtown Nashville!
Alan’s Longtime Friend Lee Ann Womack Helped Him Take His Final Bow
As we mentioned earlier, Lee Ann Womack was one of the many country singers part of the lineup, and it made perfect sense since she and Alan have been friends and collaborators for many years!
Over the years, Alan and Lee Ann have collaborated several times, covering country classics like “Golden Ring,” “Murder On Music Row,” and “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” on multiple occasions.

Womack took to social media on Thursday (June 25) to reminisce about their time sharing a stage over the years as Jackson’s final concert was approaching.
“Taking a trip down memory lane with my dear friend Alan Jackson,” she wrote alongside a video of her and her friend singing “Golden Ring” in 2011. “Hard to believe the final stop of the Last Call Tour is already here. Looking forward to celebrating a great friend and a legendary career in Nashville this Saturday. See y’all there.”
At The Finale, Lee Ann honored Alan by delivering a moving performance of “Between the Devil and Me.” He released the song in 1997 as the fifth single from his album Everything I Love.
The track peaked at #2 on the Hot Country Songs chart in the U.S., and was also a Top 10 hit in Canada.
Considering the years of friendship between them, Lee Ann’s tribute was one of the most anticipated performances at Alan’s last concert. Even if you weren’t one of the lucky people in the audience that night, you can still watch her performance thanks to some fan-filmed videos.
Watch a few of those videos below.
Alan’s final show was taped for a concert special that will air on NBC at a date that has yet to be announced. Stay tuned so you know when to watch Lee Ann’s tribute on that program!
