Alex Drummond Shares Sweet First Interaction Between Her Daughter And New Baby Brother

Alex Drummond, the daughter of Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond, is now a mother of two.
Alex Drummond and her husband, Mauricio Scott, welcomed their second child on September 15th. The baby boy arrived weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and is named Charles Alexander Scott (Charlie for short), after his grandfather.
The couple had announced their pregnancy back in March, and thanked the Lord for their growing family.
Although most know her as the eldest daughter of Food Network star Ree Drummond, Alex has built a large social media following and frequently shares lifestyle, family, and motherhood updates online.
The parents shared the happy news with a series of photos of the newborn dressed in a monogrammed onesie. They wrote that they “couldn’t be more in love” with the new bundle of joy. Baby Charlie joins his older sister Sofia, who was born in December 2024. See the birth announcement below!
Sofia Meets Her Baby Brother
One week after welcoming her son, Alex shared a touching video of big sister Sofia meeting baby Charlie for the first time.
Wearing a precious pink dress embroidered with “Big Sister” across the chest, Sofia walks into the hospital room holding her father’s hand. She greets her mother before noticing the baby in the bassinet beside them. Sofia repeatedly exclaims “Beebee!” as she gazes at her new brother.
Proud grandma Ree Drummond was nearby, capturing the memories on camera.
Being less than two years apart in age, Alex gushes that her children will “never remember life without each other.”
