Super Bowl Advertisement For Her Album

Beyoncé made the initial announcement about her album during the 2024 Super Bowl through a clever advertisement for Verizon.

In the ad, Beyoncé attempts various publicity stunts to disrupt Verizon’s service, ultimately jokingly suggesting she’ll perform in space. However, despite her efforts, the service remains stable.

In a final move, Beyoncé declares, “OK, they ready. Drop the new music.”

True to her word, she then released new music along with the long-awaited news about her upcoming album.

The album’s name, Cowboy Carter, carries a significant meaning. Initially referred to as Renaissance Act II, it was seen as the second part of Beyoncé’s planned three-part project.

“Carter” refers to Beyoncé’s married name from her husband Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter.

Hint About Her Album At The Grammys

Many fans believed that Beyoncé hinted at her move into country music during the Grammys. Her choice to wear a cowboy hat to the award show the weekend before the Super Bowl fueled rumors about her venture into country music.

She was there to support her husband, Jay-Z, who received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award. Throughout Jay-Z’s speech, cameras focused on Beyoncé, who was wearing a wide-brimmed white cowboy hat, a black beaded jacket and matching skirt, a statement Louis Vuitton belt, and a ribbon tie.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Cowboy Carter on March 29th. Beyoncé’s venture into country music is sure to add an exciting twist to her music catalog.
