Reese Witherspoon rang in a new decade with a star-studded birthday bash in Los Angeles Saturday night (March 19). The actress was joined by fellow entertainers Taylor Swift, Kate Hudson, and Jennifer Aniston among others. But the big surprise of the night came when Witherspoon took the stage with country star Keith Urban to perform Lynyrd Skynyrd’s mega hit “Sweet Home Alabama”.

Witherspoon, who starred in the 2002 rom-com of the same name, was at the mic singing with the crowd while Urban accompanied on guitar. The performance was captured on video by Vanity Fair fashion writer Derek Blasberg who shared the video on social media.

Reese Witherspoon also got a private Taylor Swift concert for her birthday celebration. The country-turned-pop star was joined by Keith Urban for an acoustic performance of her song “Shake It Off”.

Happy 40th Birthday, Reese!
