Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Post Ultimate April Fools Prank….Or Is It?

If you’ve stepped foot in a supermarket anytime during the last six months, chances are that you’ve seen the tabloid headlines claiming that Gwen Stefani is expecting Blake Shelton‘s baby. Ever since they went public with their relationship in November, the duo has been the focus of media scrutiny and outrageous headlines. But, earlier today (April 1), Stefani took the opportunity to either confirm the suspicions or laugh at them with an Instagram post.

The black & white ultrasound photo with a caption that read “It’s a girl!” elicited an outpouring of reactions from fans. Some were excited for the couple, and others caught on quickly that the photo was most likely an April Fools prank. There were others who thought the supposed prank was tasteless and an insult to women who are unable to have children. 

But, the big question seems to be….is Gwen really pregnant? Or, is she using the April Fools excuse to fire back at the tabloids? Only time will tell, but we tend to think that it’s a good-natured joke from the hot celebrity couple.
