Scotty McCreery Tells Kid Interviewer Secret To Getting A Deep Voice

Scotty McCreery stopped by Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, recently where he was promoting his new book, “Go Big Or Go Home: The Journey Toward The Dream.” While he was at the second largest mall in the United States, McCreery took time to be interviewed by the mall’s kid reporter, Ryan. 

In the adorable interview, the American Idol winner played a game of ‘Would You Rather?’ and revealed his secret to obtaining a deep voice. 

“You’re known for your smooth deep voice. I want to kind of move more in your direction. Can you help me out?” Ryan asked. 

“Yeah, man. Just start singing some Elvis,” Scotty replied. “That helped me out. So, start singing some Elvis and you’ll be good.”

Scotty goes on to teach Ryan a vocal exercise and reveals that while he loves both Johnny Cash and Elvis, he’d rather sing with Elvis.
