Scotty McCreery Accidentally Recorded Part Of His Proposal & The Video Is Adorable

Scotty McCreery recently became engaged to longtime girlfriend, Gabi Dugal, while hiking near Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina on Tuesday (Sept. 26).
“I’ve been planning this moment for so long that it feels surreal for it to have finally happened,” McCreery wrote on his personal website. “Gabi is the perfect girl and my true love, and I cannot wait to begin building our life together as husband and wife.”
Shortly following their engagement, McCreery posted an adorable slideshow to his Instagram to formerly announce he’s permanently off the market. In addition, the country singer shared a video he accidentally recorded directly following Dugal saying yes to forever. As expected, the video is nothing short of heart-melting.
“So who else knows?” asked a stunned Dugal, wearing her custom-made engagement ring.
“Everybody,” the country singer responded while gazing lovingly at his future bride.
The video appears to be recorded before they took their engagement selfie. The video ended with Dugal brushing herself off to make sure she “looks good” for the photo, while McCreery assured her she always looks “great.”
McCreery and Dugal met back in their kindergarten days in Garner, North Carolina, the charming country singer making such an impression on his future fiancé that she wrote “Mrs. Gabi McCreery” in her diary even way back then.
