Scotty McCreery & Wife Gabi Share Joyful Photos From Son’s 1st Birthday Party
on

When Scotty McCreery isn’t onstage entertaining his fans, he’s back at home with his wife, Gabi, and their two sons.
Scotty and Gabi have known each other since they were young. They married on June 16, 2018, in the mountains of their home state, North Carolina.
The couple welcomed their first child, Merrick “Avery” McCreery, on October 24, 2022. Their youngest son, Oliver “Ollie” Cooke McCreery, was born on September 18, 2025.
“Can’t imagine life without him, we love him so berry much!!” the McCreerys wrote when they announced Ollie’s birth.

Scotty and Gabi have been soaking up the past few weeks since Ollie celebrated his first birthday. Then, on October 8, Gabi shared a bunch of photos from his birthday party the month prior.
The joyful photos show Scotty, Gabi, Avery, and Ollie at his adorably themed birthday bash. The decorations and cake tied back to the beloved children’s book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
One of the cutest pictures appears midway through the slideshow. It shows Ollie after he had dug into his cake, looking at his big brother, Avery, with a silly expression on his face.
Gabi also tossed in some throwback photos of Ollie as a baby, and other pictures of him from more recent weeks that weren’t taken at his party.
“Celebrated our sweet Ollie last month,” Gabi wrote in the caption. “One whole year with the sweetest gift, thanking God for the joy he’s brought into our lives!”

Scotty McCreery Released A New Album Earlier This Year, Titled 15
2026 has been a celebratory year for Scotty McCreery. It’s the 15th anniversary of when he won Season 10 of American Idol, which kick-started his country music career.
To mark the milestone, Scotty released a retrospective album in July, appropriately titled 15. The record includes some of his biggest hits, including “This Is It” and “Five More Minutes.”
The album also features a new song, “Been a Good Run,” and three covers. One of those covers is his famous version of Conway Twitty’s signature song, “Hello Darlin’.”
Scotty also recorded a moving rendition of Kris Kristofferson’s “Why Me, Lord,” and joined forces with his musical hero, Josh Turner, to sing an updated version of “Your Man.” Listen to the latter song in the clip below.
If you happen to be reading this on October 9, 2026, today is also Scotty’s birthday, so be sure to wish him a good one!
