12-Year-Old Girl Covers Loretta Lynn’s Iconic ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’

12-year-old Paige Rombough pays tribute to country music legend Loretta Lynn’s iconic “Coal Miner’s Daughter” back in 2011 at the Trent Valley Jamboree.
In a very Loretta-like pink dress, Paige performs with absolute grace and precision that fully captivates the crowd. The young singer stuns her audience with her amazing country vocals and adorable stage presence.
“Well I was born a coal miner’s daughter in a cabin on a hill in Butcher Holler,” sings Paige endearingly. “We were poor, but we had love, that’s the one thing that daddy made sure of.”
“Coal Miner’s Daughter” tells the tale of Loretta’s life growing up as an actual coal miner’s daughter. The song tells the story of Lynn’s life in a small town in Kentucky living off a coal miner’s salary and quickly became the artist’s signature song.
