The Toby Keith Foundation Creates Oasis For Families In Need (VIDEO)

For parents dealing with the day-to-day stressors of putting their child through cancer treatments, life is not easy. It is a full time job making sure that your child gets the best possible care, and sometimes that means treatments in different cities or sometimes, a different state.

To ease the pain and worry that comes with all of the uncertainty, The Toby Keith Foundation made sure the dream of the OK Kids Korral became a reality. The OK Kids Korral is a home away from home for children battling cancer. It is a place for families to relax after a long day of treatments and doctors appointments.

The OK Kids Korral opened it’s doors on January 7, 2014, and has been a saving grace to many.

Country music superstar, Toby Keith had long awaited the creation of the OK Kids Korral, and made this statement at its grand opening:

“This was a dream. This was a need that Oklahoma needed. This is 10 times bigger than I could have ever imagined.”

It is refreshing to see our favorite artists giving back to those who need it most. Watch the video below to hear what actual OK Kids Korral families have to say about this beautiful oasis.
