Chris Young Leaves Huge Tip For Bartender, You Won’t Believe What He Wrote On The Receipt

Chris Young is a perfect example of someone who hasn’t let his success go to his head. Young rose to country fame after winning the reality singing competition, Nashville Star, in 2006 and hasn’t slowed down since. 

With a string of chart-topping tunes, numerous award show wins and nominations, and a successful headlining tour, Young continues to stay grounded. The “Think Of You” singer is known for his philanthropy and for being an overall generous guy. 

One lucky Chili’s bartender was on the receiving end of Chris Young’s generosity Monday night (August 1). The story was shared on social media by the bartender’s cousin who shared a photo with a caption that read,  “I think this is an amazingly beautiful thing you did and want to say thank you on behalf of the Chili’s Bartender that served you tonight(she is my cousin!!) I think this is the coolest thing ever.”

The photo showed a receipt with a bill totaling $77. Chris Young not only paid the $77, but added a $200 tip and a note that read “Bills suck! Your service was great. Enjoy the tip.”

That’s what we call a great surprise! The bartender, Melodie Sullivan, responded to her cousin’s post saying “This was so cool! And definitely made last night which started out to be a rough one a much better one!”
