Few artists have produced as many cover-worthy tunes pop artist Whitney Houston. Best known for her take on the Dolly Parton hit “I Will Always Love You,” Houston was the most awarded woman in music history with more than 400 career awards to her credit.

Whitney Houston’s career achievements and vocal abilities put her in a league all her own. Many artists have tried but none have managed to replicate what Whitney Houston gave to music. Until now.

Johnny Manuel took to the America’s Got Talent stage Tuesday night where he stunned the crowd and judges with his take on Whitney Houston’s Bodyguard classic “I Have Nothing.” Manuel was signed to a label as a teen and once toured with *NSYNC. While his career came to an abrupt halt, he never gave up on his dream.

“I hope what can happen is that I am finally able to be who I am and present myself and my music to the world,” the Michigan native said prior to his performance.

As Manuel began to sing it became apparent that his voice is still as strong as his dream. In a matter of minute, the singer won over the entire audience and the show’s judges.

We can’t wait to hear more from Johnny Manuel! Hear him sing “I Have Nothing” below and let us know what you think!
