Garth Brooks Invites Newlyweds To His Home For Dinner

Garth Brooks knows how to pull of a surprise! Over the course of his 3-year World tour, Brooks surprised his fans night after night with once-in-a-lifetime experiences that included paying for their children’s college and participating in gender reveals and marriage proposals. But, Garth’s latest surprise takes the cake. 

During Monday’s (February 5) Inside Studio G, Brooks’ weekly Facebook show, a fan from Sweden submitted a question asking the country megastar for suggestions about where she and her husband should visit when they honeymoon in the U.S. later this year.

The response she received wasn’t at all what she expected! 

“I’m gonna get my butt kicked by my wife for this one,” Brooks said. “What would you think about you and your husband — why don’t you make a stop in Nashville and why don’t you come to our house and have dinner with me and Ms. Yearwood?”

Brooks even promised a meal cooked by his celebrity chef wife, Trisha Yearwood. 

“You let me know when you’re gonna be here and I’ll make sure of it,” he said. “Because that was a sweet, sweet thing you said about the country music audience. It would be a joy to have you in our house and introduce you to the queen. I love you very, very much. Come see us!”

Wadin responded to Garth’s invitation on Twitter saying, “Garth Brooks you made my day….”
