The bell-bottom wearing, guitar-strumming country boy was a screaming vision of the 70s, as this 1977 performance was brimming with the groovy essentials that allowed viewers the opportunity to relive the psychedelic days.

Campbell opened up his performance by first diving into his lively hit “Southern Nights”, warming up his audience for the thrilling surprise he had in store…

As the song selection came to its finale, the crooner brought forth his special guest, the unbelievably beautiful and popular songstress, Cher! The two shared a friendly hug and, after discussing the long duration of time that had passed since their last musical encounter, the performers gave a wonderful performance to Campbell’s tune “Country Boy.”

The singers, however, gave their medley a soulful twist as they powerfully performed Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynold’s classic song, “Don’t Pull Your Love.”

Their happy-go-lucky spirits were clearly portrayed during their unique set that showcased their admirable ability to appreciate a wide selection of genre favorites.
