Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman Show Off Predators Pride In Cutest Way Possible

Nashville’s nickname may be “Music City,” but it looks like it may have to adopt the name “Hockey City” as well! 

The Predators, the Nashville-based hockey team, made history when they fought their way through the playoffs to make the Stanley Cup Final. It’s the first time that the Preds have ever been in the Stanley Cup, and everyone is Nashville is pretty fired up.

Many country stars watched the playoffs, with artists such as Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, and Thomas Rhett all showing support for their home team. Other artists expressed their Preds pride in an even bigger way…by singing the National Anthem. Carrie Underwood, Trisha Yearwood, and Luke Bryan were just a few of the talented artists that were asked to sing before the Preds’ home playoff games.

Another artist who performed the National Anthem during the playoffs was Keith Urban. After being born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, being invited to perform the U.S. National Anthem was a great honor to him.

“I’ve lived in America for 25 years, I’ve never been asked to sing the National Anthem. It was such an honor to do it here in Nashville for the Preds,” he said.

Urban was in the house once again when the Preds played against the Pittsburgh Penguins in game three of the Stanley Cup finals. The energy in Bridgestone Arena was at an all-time high, as the Preds came out on top to beat the Penguins.

After the Preds scored a goal, Urban and his wife, Nicole Kidman, celebrated in the cutest way possible. Wearing matching Preds jerseys with their last names on them, the two jumped in excitement and shared a sweet embrace.

Urban also shared an adorable photo of Kidman in the midst of the packed crowd at Bridgestone Arena.
