Kelly Clarkson Makes Fun Of Blake Shelton In Hysterical Interview
on Jun 26, 2017
News broke back in May that Kelly Clarkson would join NBC’s The Voice in Season 14 as a coach for the hit singing competition. As one of the most famous vocalists to ever emerge from a show of such nature, veteran coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine may have a lot to handle when the three time Grammy Award-winning singer takes a seat in one of those famous red chairs in 2018.
In preparation of being Voice costars, Clarkson and Shelton are partnered up to perform at the Department of Defense Warrior opening ceremony at Soldier Field this Saturday (July 1). In a phone interview with the Chicago Tribune, the “Piece by Piece” singer discussed her feelings on working with the country singer, letting Voice fans in on what is to be expected from them with a few hilarious jabs at Shelton’s expense.
“I’m a big fan of (Shelton). Always have been for, I don’t know, for like a decade now we’ve been friends,” shared Clarkson with the Chicago Tribune. “So yeah, it should be fun. But yeah, I guess it will be a precursor for ‘The Voice.’ A precursor to when I annihilate him.”
In addition to Clarkson, Oscar and Grammy Award-winner Jennifer Hudson is set to judge Season 13 of The Voice alongside returning judge Miley Cyrus.
So what do you think? Think Shelton needs to watch out for her? Let us know in the comments!
