Kelsea Ballerini Wows With ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Debut

It’s been a huge year for Kelsea Ballerini and she doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon! 

In 2017, the “Dibs” singer was nominated for her first Grammy award, won an ACM Award, performed with Shania Twain and Reba McEntire, and is the only woman in country music to have her first three singles reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Airplay charts. Now she can add another fun accomplishment to that resume. 

Ballerini appeared on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night where she performed her latest single, “Legends,” during the season finale. Kelsea stood on a podium in the middle of the famous dance floor and sang as video highlights from the DWTS season played behind her. Halfway through the performance, dancing pro Val Chmerkovskiy and his girlfriend and fellow dancer Jenna Johnson made their way to the floor where they performed a choreographed routine. 

“Legends” is the first single off Ballerini’s recently released sophomore album. Even though she wrote the song in the midst of heartbreak, Ballerini is anything but heartbroken now. The 24-year old is set to marry her fiance, Australian country singer Morgan Evans, in December.
