For the first time in her entire life, Carrie Underwood broke the law and had to deal with the consequences – something she said she was “ashamed of” in a tweet about the incident.

Truth be told, we all have probably committed the same offense, but for Carrie it was her very first time and it sounds like it left her shaken up.

“Well, it happened today. After 18 years, I can no longer say I’ve never been pulled over for speeding. I feel so ashamed!” she wrote on Twitter.

Luckily for her, the cop let her off with a warning, but as she revealed – that didn’t do much to quell her nerves!

“I may or may not have cried in my car after the cop let me go,” she added.

While Underwood was probably a bit stunned at this first-time experience, her husband, Mike Fisher, had his own feelings on the matter that were quite opposite from her!

Responding to her tweet confessional, Fisher let his thoughts out for the world to see – and it might be surprising to some of you.

“Proud of you honey!” he exclaimed in support of his precious wife. He even included a laughing face emoji for extra giggles.

This is a perfect example of their adorable relationship and we are sure the next time Carrie gets pulled over, she probably won’t be as surprised! Sometimes life happens!
