Miley Cyrus sent fans into a frenzy after debuting her new artistic direction with her breezy new love song, “Malibu.” Continuing her campaign of showing the world her reinvented brand of music, Cyrus took the stage of Wango Tango in Los Angeles, California by storm with a brand new rendition of “Jolene.”

“I learned from the very best, ya know about makin’ music,” the singer said prior to her performance. “I learned from my aunt Dolly Parton. And so I thought to celebrate, it would only be right if we did a little bit of ‘Jolene’!”

The music began to play while Cyrus danced across the stage throwing out bouquets of flowers into the audience. The “Malibu” singer showed off her country roots through her powerful rendition of Parton’s iconic tune.

Between the massive success of her new song “Malibu” – which quickly soared to No.1 on iTunes – and her return as a coach to Season 13 of The Voice, 2017 is quickly shaping up to be the year of Miley.
