Shoeless Singers Deliver Haunting A Cappella ‘Travelin’ Soldier’

Taking the stage completely barefoot at this high-school auditorium, these incredibly talented young ladies blew everyone away with this dazzling rendition of “Travelin’ Soldier” that only used their voices!

The song, which has become a staple of almost every country music collection, was originally made famous by bluegrass trio, the Dixie Chicks. Released off their 2002 album, Home, the song became a number 1 hit for them.

In this delightful home video, this all-female a cappella group pulls out all the stops for a stunning rendition of the song that incorporates angelic harmonies and magnetic melodies.

There are three soloists throughout the video, each of which has a powerhouse voice that fills the room – only backed by the voices of her fellow group members.

Watch this rare, fresh take on a classic hit in the video below and let us know how well you liked it!
