It seems like there’s more to the story of Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose’s breakup.

Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges, on May 23.

The news came just seven months into their marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct” as reasons for their split.

Additionally, Cyrus sought an annulment, claiming their marriage was fraudulent and that he would not have married her had he known about the alleged fraud. TMZ reported that Cyrus gave Firerose only two days to vacate their shared property following their breakup.

Interestingly, just weeks after filing for annulment, Billy Ray Cyrus also filed an emergency motion seeking a temporary restraining order against Firerose over her allegedly “unauthorized” use of his credit cards and accounts, accusing her of making fraudulent charges.

And now, it looks like the situation has escalated even further.

Apparently, infidelity was another reason why Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose’s marriage ended.

According to Us Weekly, a source told the outlet exclusively that their relationship was “intense” and “toxic” and even Cyrus’s kids didn’t approve of their marriage.

“Billy and Firerose were always fighting…Billy accused Firerose of cheating and it was the final straw for him.”

The source added, “Miley [Cyrus], Noah [Cyrus], and their siblings never understood the relationship and why Billy married her so abruptly. No one approved of the marriage. Miley is hopeful this will give some peace to the family, and she thinks this is a good step in the right direction for him.”

Despite the publicized split, neither Cyrus or Firerose has commented on the divorce.
