September 19 seems so close, yet so far away!

That is the day that fan-favorite show The Voice will return for its 11th season. This season will feature two new coaches, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, who will join The Voice veteran coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.

As we get closer to the premiere date, NBC is releasing more and more information about the new season including the August 5th teaser trailer, which indicates that this season will be out of this world! The teaser trailer only featured Shelton and Levine, leaving us with a cliff hanger before showing Cyrus and Keys.

On Monday night (August 8), The Voice shared the full trailer on their official Facebook page and it’s already gotten almost 1 million views!

In the video, Levine and Shelton play special agents who arrive at an alien invasion. Following a huge explosion, Cyrus and Keys appear from a cloud of smoke.

Shelton asks them, “Do you come in peace?”

“No,” Keys says, as Cyrus yells, “We’ve come to destroy you!”

At that point, Levine and Shelton know they are in trouble, having to compete against two new coaches. They all buckle up in their red chairs and are ready for lift off.

This trailer really gets us excited for the new season.

Host Carson Daly makes a hilarious cameo at the very end. See it by watching the trailer below.
