‘The Voice’ Releases Teaser Trailer For New Season, And It’s Out Of This World!

It’s that time of year again! By the time The Voice returns for its fall season on September, five months will have passed since they crowned their last champion, Alisan Porter of Team Christina. 

Dozens of new contestants will take to the stage in the hopes of turning at least one of the red coaches’ chairs. If they get the much-desired four chair turn, they’ll be left with the tough decision of choosing their coach…should they pick Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine, or Blake Shelton?

To get viewers hyped up for the approaching season, The Voice released a short teaser trailer prominently featuring Levine and Shelton, who have been the constant coaches since the show got its start in 2011. Keys and Cyrus are both new to the show this season, and make small appearances in the new trailer.

The teaser trailer for the new season is literally from out of this world. With Shelton and Levine acting as some sort of government agents, the video sets up the premise of an alien invasion. Of course, the “invasion” taking place is the return of The Voice itself.

Although the clip takes on a dramatic tone, it ends on a more comedic note, showing Shelton and Levine laughing with one another. Tune in below to check it out and get hyped up for the next season of The Voice.
